3rd Shirts 1989 -
  1. 1994 3rd Shirt
Swindon did not need a 3rd shirt in the Premier League but when the returned to the old Division 1 they did, despite the away shirt being yellow. This is quite an understated but stylish shirt by Loki, with red pinstripes.

  2. 2001 3rd Shirt
Simple white away shirt worn as an alternative to the blue home shirt in season 2001-02. The red chest line is a nice touch. Again a much nicer shirt than the home one.

  3. 2003-05 3rd Shirt
Worn as a 3rd shirt for two seasons. There is to be honest very little difference between the previous Xara shirt and this Scoreline one. Simple clean lines, its hard to mess up a plain white shirt really!.

  4. 2008 3rd Shirt
This shirt was only worn once and was meant to mark Swindon's 40th anniversary of the 1969 League Cup triumph. However it has very little to do with Wembley 69 as it is black and peacock blue not white. An odd choice but better than the previous seasons Lotto shirts.

  5. 2010 3rd Shirt
This all black shirt was worn a few times in 2010-11 including a surprise JPT cup win against Southampton from which the press were banned at the time. The Advertiser recreated the goals using Subbuteo figures in black. http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/funnies/41177/swindon-newspaper-uses-subbuteo-to-get-around-photo-ban.html.

  6. 1996 3rd Shirt
This is a great shirt as it celebrates the Clubs triumph as League 2 Champions in 1995-96 season. The colour is described as 'petrol blue' and has specific GTX Magnatec sponsoring. This was the first time a shirt had a different away sponsor to the home shirt. Really hard to find now.

  7. 2009 3rd Shirt
This shirt will always be associated with the great match against Charlton that took Swindon to the play-off final in 2010. In fact it was something of a lucky shirt with a number of big results won wearing it. It was even suggested when Swindon decided not to wear red in the final, this 'lucky' kit might have been a better choice.

  8. 2014 3rd Shirt
Either the 'unlucky' Sheffield United and Cheltenham shirt or the lucky Doncaster and Sheffield Utd Play Offs shirt. I actually really like this shirt. It's a shame that it was never made available to fans to buy!

  9. 1989 3rd Shirt
This switched the home colour of the 87 away shirt into a 3rd shirt. Again a bit too much like an Oxford United shirt for many fans liking. Certainly not as iconic as the home shirt.

  10. 2007 3rd shirt
Black and red version of the home shirt. Another shirt from the mid 2000's I was just not inspired to purchase. Possibly the nicest of the three versions of this Lotto template though.

  11. 20011 and 12 Cup Shirts
Very limited edition Cup shirts. Despite wanting a full collection I didn't feel like buying them at the time.
