Away Shirts 1986 - 2004
  1. 1995 Away Shirt
This is the first modern replica era Swindon away shirt that decided to switch to blue as an alternative colour to white and yellow. This 'Blackburn Rovers' style shirt is another one of Mizuno's understated classics from the Mid 90's. Worn in Swindon's League 2 (now League 1) winning season.

  2. 1993 Away Shirt
This is the possible exception to the rule of unloved yellow Swindon shirts. Known as the 'Brazil Shirt' for obvious reasons it was worn in the Premier League 93-94 season by such fan favourites as Fjortoft, Moncur and Taylor.

  3. 1991 Away Shirt
This is most possibly the most striking away shirt Swindon ever wore. Known as the 'Potato Pint' or 'Air Freshener' it is a bizarre mix of green abstract patterns that sort of resemble fir trees. Best as modelled by Glen Hoddle controlling the midfield with laser guided 50 yard passes.

  4. 1989 Away Shirt
Same template as the home shirt but in white with red and black trim. I spent many a summer working on a Strawberry Farm outside Marlborough and GWR was the soundtrack to my summer from 1990 to 1993.

  5. 1987 Away Shirt
Yellow and blue are the colours of Oxford United and so when Town have a yellow and blue kit it makes certain fans wonder if those who make the decisions about the design of shirts know what the significance is. This is the same shirt as the home and has the diagonal candy stripe pattern across.

  6. 1986 Away Shirt
Totally simple white shirt with white trim. For some reason this replica does not have a Spall name applied. Meant to evoke memories of Wembley1969.

  8. 2002 Away Shirt
DGI are the nadir of Swindon shirts and the away follows the example of the home with its none existent styling, huge collar and hessian sack quality material. This one never gets worn!

  11. 2003 Away Shirt
After 8 years of blue shirts this came as a shock. Not everyone liked it but I did. Its a very unusual colour scheme of black and gold stripes. I like the fact the club and designers tried something different here.

  12. 1999 Away Shirt
Lotto continued the blue away shirt, this time with two shades of blue and red trim. Worn in our rather sad last season in the second tier (99-00).

  14. 2000 Away Shirt
Another blue away shirt by Xara with white trim this time. Quite a simple design and actually a better design than the home shirt. It would have been better if the home shirt had used the same template.

  15. 1997 Away Shirt
Rather than halves in blue and black this is an 'Inter Milan' style striped shirt. Similar template to the home. Another nice away shirt, most of the 90's one were.
